Welcome to MIRANOVA TECHNOLOGIES
304, 304L, 316, 316L, used for food/pharma, and not OK for water.
All external surfaces of the system shall be made of stainless steel 304, 304L, 316 or 316L, polymers as per ES5.04 or inert materials compliant with ES5.03 (glass, natural quartz, etc.).
All external surfaces shall also be non-absorbent.
Note 1: Type 304 is a good general-purpose alloy for pharmaceutical applications where pitting corrosion is not a problem. Type 316 is usually specified for product contact surface (sample and materials handling applications where saline solutions or similarly salty chemicals may come into contact with the metal). Where welding takes place, 304L and 316L should be used. 316 is excellent towards ozone, while 304 is slightly less resistant (but still offers very good resistance).
Note 2: From SOP 112101 “Standard Installation Requirements for Production Equipment”: Unless otherwise specified in the user requirement specification surfaces in contact with media must be made of acid-proof stainless steel with a content of Molybdenum ⩾ 2.0% and Carbon ≤ 0.03%. If the material is not to be welded, accepted are also: Molybdenum ⩾ 2.0% and Carbon ≤ 0.08%.
Also accepted: AISI 316Ti and EN1.4571 or other materials with similar or better resistance against corrosion and similar or better weldability than acid-proof stainless steel.
Note 3: As per NSF/ANSI 3A 14159-1 (hygienic design for food), materials not used include wood, enamelware, uncoated aluminum, uncoated anodized aluminum, etc.
Stainless Steel Types
Why not all stainless types are the same.
Our mission
We're on a mission to change the way the housing market works. Rather than offering one service or another, we want to combine as many and make our clients' lives easy and carefree. Our goal is to match our clients with the perfect properties that fit their tastes, needs, and budgets.
Our vision
We want to live in a world where people can buy homes that match their needs rather than having to find a compromise and settle on the second-best option. That's why we take a lot of time and care in getting to know our clients from the moment they reach out to us and ask for our help.
Our team
Our strength lies in our individuality. Set up by Esther Bryce, the team strives to bring in the best talent in various fields, from architecture to interior design and sales.
